Story

Eclipse Handmade was born between France and Canada. Dorothée, the designer, first came to Toronto in 2009 already long interested in creating original jewellery. Her ideas began taking shortly thereafter, and debuted her work professionally in 2017.

Dorothée draws inspirations from many sources. Her childhood summers spent on the Bay of Biscay and the Côtes-d'Armor in Brittany are reflected in the organic shapes of pendants.

Nature, the universe and cosmos are her main themes. Her favourite technique is lost-wax-casting. She hand-carved out of wax her pieces and cast them in sterling silver.

All Dorothée's work is original and handmade.
